Clic-R Pliers Question
Only thing I ever use my clic-r pliers for is when replacing a fuel filter on my CDI. Today I had difficulty getting it in position to close the larger of the two oetiker clamps. Only thing I could figure out was to close it a bit with vise grips and then I was able to get the pliers in position to close the clamp.
So maybe I just need slightly larger pliers? I'm looking online but it's not clear to me that they come in different sizes....all look to be 7" long, like the ones I have. If anyone could recommend a different set of pliers or advice as to how best to get the pliers in position I'd be most grateful. EDIT: PROBLEM SOLVED. Sixto responded on another forum...recommended these: https://www.improvedracing.com/oetiker-ear-clamp-crimping-tool-pliers-10-inch.html They have one inch jaw width as opposed to the 9/16" on the ones I have.
