I have all the interior restored on my 85 380SE after putting the 84SD engine and transmission in it. The wiring is finished to accommodate the om617.

One of my a-hole neighbors has turned me in to the codes people who are insisting I move/dispose of the car.

I am going to talk to the codes people tomorrow and show them how far this project has come and hope they give me another six months or so to get the car painted before I have to replace the exterior lighting.

Is there a legal way around compliance with the code? I only have this one car and it's sitting in my carport, I have no garage.
