Hello! This is my first time posting to the forum but I've found a lot of helpful info here and wanted to make an account finally.

I am looking for a mechanic near Ann Arbor or Detroit Michigan who has experience with older diesel MBs. I have a new-to-me '82 240D (auto) that needs some tlc. I'm trying to learn to work on it as I go, but would like to have it inspected so I could make a list of priorities and get a realistic sense of what i can expect out of a car with close to 240K and many previous owners.
