N/A 300TD

WOW .

I wonder what my gray market 7 passenger heavily optioned '84 turbo one is worth ? .

I'd sell it in a heartbeat if SWMBO wouldn't kill me .

I have a set of five 5-1/2" light alloy wheels for this car...

Exclamation N/A OM617's

If your N/A 5 cylinder Diesel is notably slow, it needs tuning or adjusting .

No one ever called my two N/A coupes slow and they didn't smoke either .

Come drive in Texas sometime. My well-tuned 560SEL is pretty slow for some of this traffic and it's like a rocketship in warp-drive compared to even a turbodiesel. The N/A's are SLOW.

Post Relative Speed

I've been to the great state of TEXAS many times, I love it there .

One needn't chirp the tires to go fast ~ acceleration is nice and all but no one really needs to drive 100 MPH .

I've driven many inline 6 cylinder oldies in TEXAS traffic and never had any problems, I am not a left lane bandit unless I'm in/on an appropriate vehicle .

Tried merging with 80mph traffic with one of these N/A diesels? It is dangerous. Especially when the posted speed limit is 80mph and everyone is doing 90+ anyway. Your painfully slow car that can't get out of it's own way becomes an obstruction to traffic flow. Plodding along at 65mph in an 80mph zone can get you legally cited for obstructing traffic. Not saying you need a race car, but these N/A diesels are *SLOW*.

Post Freeway Merging

Yes, I agree there ~ I have to plan my freeway merges in my 240D *very* carefully so I don't get run over and killed .
