Dang! It’s a 1984. Not that that makes a difference…

You could look up the part number at this Russian site and use the part number to search with.

If you can't source it as a M-B part, you might use a rubber seal for another car. At least on my 300D's, the trunk seal looks fairly universal, and might even interchange with my 1965 Dodge Dart. Many sellers on ebay show a profile of the rubber with dimensions.

Yup, I need one of these too. I've found some on a few different generic Mercedes parts websites but not sure if you can trust them or not. They are usually somewhere in Russia or Germany and they may be fine but they always seem to have a "too good to be true" vibe to their sites and those sites are always the ones that literally no one I know has bought from so I'm a little skeptical. They are not too good to be true because the prices are cheap, the are not cheap but more because those sites seem to have every single NLA part known to man somehow.

Quote:
What I am finding on the US real Mercedes parts sites is that they are only sometimes even giving part number on what is available for sale. If something was discontinued the description and part number may not even be there. I am even having that similar situation with a 1986 chevy cavalier. Some of the genuine chevy parts places don't even list the air filter because it has been discontinued by Chevy. But, you can go to someplace like Auto zone and find one for it.
