Heat only works for a few minutes

When I turn on the climate control to heat, it’ll only blow warm air for a couple of minutes before it starts getting cooler until it’s fully cold. If I roll the dial down to cold, the back up to hot, it’ll blow warm air for another minute or two before going cold again. Any idea what’s going on?

I'd suspect the mono valve. Monitor the signal to the valve and the hoses for temperature. If the signal stays the same but the hose temp changes its the valve. If the signal changes it is a control e.g., CCU or temp sensor.

Solved. Monovalve was getting stuck shut. Tested it with a 12v supply and it would click the first couple times then get stuck. A whack with a hammer on the top would free it up. I disassembled it and cleaned it out.
