elec connection to wiper nozzle???

Hi,

1986 190D here.

I need to replace a windshield washer nozzle and noticed there is an electrical connection (to the nozzle that sits in the hood).
Does anyone know what that connection is for?

Also, anyone no where I can find the actual nozzle that the hose plugs into??
I tried to clear mine and no luck.

That is a heated windshield washer nozzle part number A2018601047
Not sure if available new, sometimes can find used on ebay. Also shared in some W124's 86-91.

As to clearing, try poking the nozzle holes with a pin and or use a syringe to fill the water inlets with CLR or similar and let sit for a few days to see if it clears out or can be blown out. Try blowing (with your mouth/straw/tube) on the nozzle end into the body, reverse flow so to speak.
