87 300d THINKING OF BUYING

Hi the owner states after the engine is turned off it will not start right away have to wait about 20 minutes. If the vaccum hose from shut off valve is unhooked the car will start right away. He changed the solenoid no change. its reasonably priced 119 k miles. Paint faded, some oil leak and Ac does not work.

Sounds like the vacuum shutoff valve needs replacing. Easy and not expensive.
Good luck if you buy the car
