Exhaust hanger issues - misaligned hooks

My 1991 350sd has a misaligned hanger. No idea why.

But I can’t get a standard hanger with the little ears, which are intended to stand off one part from another, to keep the space. Thus I have a constant knocking/vibration over 2000 rpm.








Is there another type that has more stand-off?

Any other recommendations besides cutting the arm and welding it back?
