Thought on these bundts? Replicas?

Looking for a set of wheels for my 85 CD. They came with Centras, which I kind of liked, but the chrome is peeling badly. So they look okay from 20', but not good up close.

I found someone selling these chrome bundts for cheap. They look like replicas, but wanted to get other's thoughts. I'm dealing with a son that knows nothing about them, so when I ask questions, it is a bit like playing telephone. Assuming dad doesn't speak English very well (and I don't speak Spanish at all.) Just trying to figure it out before I make the drive to look at them in person.

First pic is of my CD with the Centras, then the other 3 are the bundts in question. I don't see any stampings/engravings anywhere.

Just as a general matter, because of the galvanic activity of aluminum, any plating on aluminum is of relatively short duration (as compared with plating on ferrous metals). Painting (the original finish) is preferred.

A close look at the inside of a clean wheel is in order. If they are OEM wheels they will have the part #, and the width & diameter in the casting. There are many bundts available, including a set that I have. Take your time.

Without stampings you'll need to measure the offset of each wheel also. Don't measure one and assume they're all the same. They're out there, as suggested I'd wait unless the drive is reasonable to check them.

Any repop bundts I’ve seen don’t have the steel seats on the lug holes.
Those look like a stock set that’s been polished and plated.

I’d find a good set of stock painted bundts iiwy…

14s. I think I'm going to attempt to blast and refinsh my Centras though. But I've got time. Lots of parts to go on the CD before it's road worthy.
