Interchangeable parts between 300d and 240d

When planning to put an OM617A in a 240d what am I going to need to find besides the engine? I believe I’ll need the 300d exhaust but as far as the flywheel, differential, drive shaft, and engine mounts I’m not sure. Any specifics would be greatly appreciated.

yup ... get a 300D parts car and do operation switch-a-roo side by side is the best.

You got different springs because of the weight, the motor mounts are different but folks just use the turbos anyways most likely. The radiator is bigger as well as the oil cooler on the 300D.

You have two welded tabs on the 300D cross member for the engine shocks which go to different L and R engine arms

You have an overflow tank on the 300D. You may have some slightly different coolant hose configurations.

When I say 300D I mean 300D turbo

NA, Euro, turbo etc...
All have significant differences.

The 240d is most similar to the euro 300 which is NA as well.

What are you planning.
