Factory service manual???

Does anyone have the factory service manual steps for removing the dash in order to replace the a/c defroster and other pods that they could send me? I don't know if that's in pdf format that it could be emailed or not.

Thanks

Year? Model?

You can get a 1 month subscription to AllDATA diy for the car you are working on for $20. No guarantee the information you want will be available though.

I pulled two dashes on Euro W123 sedans yesterday with manual climate control in order to swap them between cars so this is fresh in my memory.
  • Remove gauge cluster.
  • Remove lower panels under the dash.
  • Remove Speaker covers
  • Remove A Pillar trim
  • Remove center console.
  • Lower steering wheel
  • Remove glove box interior removing the door is not necessary.
  • Remove ducting from vents at sides of dash (your vents will break)
  • Remove ducting from center vents
  • Remove linkage from center vent control
  • Remove bolts holding dash 2 in speaker area, 2 on dash edges 1 passenger side center console area.

For twenty dollars, you can get a one-month membership to AllDATA DIY for the vehicle you are working on. However, there is no assurance that the information you seek will be accessible.
