Modulator

On my 79 SD the tranny modulator is on the passenger side. To access the adjustment pin the housing is removed - simple enough. After adjusting the pin, cleaning the housing, and replacing the housing - it still doesn't hold vacuum. It holds better now, but still still leaks down slowly. I believe a new seal is in order. Anyone here had any experience with this vintage modulator?
