Hello Forum.
I just had some front end work done on my 300d and a through inspection from my mechanic. He said that my transmission has a leak. Tonight I was filling my transmissions with new fluid, it was low. But he comes the fun part. I overfilled it by accident. It is a pain in the but to tell if it is just right I must have put that stick in there dozens of times. Since I overfilled it I had to loosen the drain plug to remove some fluid. I tightend the drain plug and re-tightend the pan screws. My problem is now the drain plug leaks. I admit that I didn't have the right tool. I used an allen wrench with a pair of pliers. How tight must that plug be or is there a washer that is tweeked? I guess I am just venting, now I have to drive my old blazer to work instead of my new to me 300d while I find more time to work on it.

There is to be a alluminium or copper washer with the plug.
