Has anyone put a 300 turbo engine into a 240D? The 300 is an automatic and the 240 is a stick. The 300 is starting to rust and th 240 is in good shape. I know it is possible but I would like to know what is involved and any special problems. Ive swapped engines before (including putting a 220d into a International Scout) Id like it to be more or less factory. Any thoughts at all would be greatly appreciated. PS I have an awesome set of tools
