Paul,
Thanks for the link. There is a mistake in the article, however. They attributed the additional fuel mileage of a diesel strictly to its efficiency. This is not entirely true. Although a diesel engine is more efficient than a gasoline engine, they are not pointing out that there is more energy to be derived from an equal volume of diesel fuel than is available in the same quantity of gasoline. I guess a politician or a network news person wrote the article, spinning the truth to fit their own desires. Have a great day, |
