Odd rear tire wear

The rear tires on my 300D are wearing oddly. The inside tread is down to nearly nothing about an inch outward from the inner sidewall. The rest of the tire tread looks fine. There are 4 connecting links(arms) on the rear and I suspect a bad(worn) one.How do I find which one?Nothing has been done on the car in the rear except brakes and wheel bearings. The struts are still rock solid and not leaking or anything.Would a 4 wheel alignment correct it?I am tempted to completely rebuild the entire rear suspensiondue to it's age. What kind of cost would I be looking at?Would fastlane have all the parts I need?Has anyone done this?It looks like a tough job but I am sure I can do it.I just need some input as to where I should look first.
I'll need new tires and I hate to wear them out prematurely because of this problem.TIA ! Joe...................................
