Tranny shift fix??
I am wondering if anyone has tried the fix listed on the web site below. It sounds just like the problem that I have and have not been able to cure. After talking with the people I find that the kit is meant to be installed at overhaul but it appears that the shift kit can be installed without removing the tranny. Any comments or experience.

Bob:
I would personally exhaust the adjustment potential before installing a shift kit. Stacked 3-4 shifts are "normal" at light throttle (meaning that they cannot usually be adjusted out). Exact shift feel and timing have a rather wide adjustment range, also the control pressure can be adjusted by a technician, which will adjust both shift timing and feel. I believe there was a set of procedures on mbz.org (or some other benz site), but I don't remember exactly where. Peter

Bob:
Search for "I hate automatic tranmissions" under Larry Bible. It is there that I posted two very good articles about adjustment procedures. There are about six different adjustments that you can do. All of them are pretty easy. I've improved mine quite a bit but still suffer some. Don
