Angry Leaking Fuel Lines

I need help. I have a fuel leak on my diesel. I'm trying to replace every hose that I can get at from above. The return line from the injector unit is suspect, and I've heard that these go bad frequently. My question is this. I have a hard time getting at the injector unit becuase of the intake manafold is over and above the unit. Will I have to remove this (looks like alot of work) to get at the lines to replace them? How hard a job is this? Is this the only thing on the injector unit that could be leaking? Let me know what you think?

do you know where the leak is?

Hello Tom,
My wife and I are from Grand Rapids originally! Are you getting cold weather like we are up here?
On my 300td the supply and return lines (the flexible ones which attach with clamps to the tank and to the rigid ones attached to the undercarriage) were leaking, slowly, but leaking nonetheless. I went to AutoZone and purchased 3/8" fuel injector hose and replaced these 2: one was about 8" and the other one around 10" I think.
If you have the right clamps you don't need to go with MB fuel line, at least that's my understanding.

where's the leak

Shawn-
It looks like the leak is between the engine and the injector unit. The leak is suspect because the heat of the motor tends to burn up the fuel and lets out the wonderful diesel smell. (goda lov it). I do have a puddle of fuel in the morning though which I conclude that a line is empting or it's excess when running at full power. I have a line that goes to the injector unit from the fuel filter (where the screen for the filter is). I have that on order and will replace that soon. I hope that's the fix or off to the shop.

I actually checked under my hood today...

and found that my fuel lines are also wet with fuel. Not all, but a couple. Perhaps I too will be looking at replacing them soon.
