I'm sure this subject has been worn out but it still is and always will be--an issue, I guess--as long as we drive these things.
300CD--more engine sounds/chassis reverberation as it gets older. Seems like I'm not isolating the machinery from the cockpit anymore. How do we determine engine mount or tranny mount failure? Or, whatever? I'd like to return to the new slippery smooth driving experience that this car is capable of.
I have replaced both half shafts. And I have the parts for the center driveline bearing and support replacement.
I appreciate the generous cooperation. Without this site, I'd be walking.
