Question Transmission 300D broken spring in valve body/photo

Pulling the valve body'(s) from my 1984 300d transmisson I discovered a large broken spring at the end of the valve body. Bottom right of photo. This may be why the shift points are late, especially 3-4 @ 3000rpm under minimum throttle. It also engages hard from N-D or R. The Bowden cable is adjusted.

Am wanting to diagnose this valve body and would like to obtain a schematic of these online. Of couse we work much better from diagrams and pictures that indicate where the parts are and what they look like.

Is there a spring kit for these?
