W123 Brakes

83 W123 300D
My brake pad light is on. Can I be sure this car has the ATE brakes? I want to order a set of pads today F&R. Is it advised to buy new pins and clips too. Pins and clips same F&R.
Thanks Much

Usually I just buy new pads, not pins or the retaining clip. New pins might be a good idea but I don't think you need a new clip. I've been very happy with Textar pads from FastLane. Good luck.
