Doing rear end repairs

Noticed the output shaft seals of my diff were leaking, so ordered a set of seals from Fastlane (I did order a new pair of brake rotors too). Started tearing it apart tonight. I should have the axles out tomorrow evening. Looks like I need some emergency brake shoes too now. They're toast. But they don't look like a whole lotta fun to replace. Guess I'll actually have to read the directions on this job Anyone done this job? Is it a PIA?
Also, I now see there is a bit of wiggle when I grab the CV joint knuckles near the diff and push back and forth. Is that normal, or am I looking at worn bearings too? That may be why my seals are leaking.
