I have a situation for all you knowledgeable gentlemen out there... my husband is working (long distance from me) on an 82 300TD wagon. Everything was working ok until just recently when he found that it won't shut off with the key. He says that all the vacuum lines appear to be hooked up, if he disconnects a supply line and holds his thumb over it, he doesn't feel any vacuum. All the other vacuum run systems including the windows are still working fine.
Where else should we be looking at to tell what the problem is stemming from?
Please understand that we don't have a manual to look at so any info you can pass along on where to look or what to try is greatly appreciated.
