Help replacing air cells/ accumulators, fluid, filter...
I'll be replacing the accumulators/ air cells on my '81 300TD within the next week or so. When I do I'll also flush, replace the filter, and refill with new MB hdyraulic fluid.
I'm a pretty decent DIY'er, is there anybody that can provide some instructions/ directions beyond general tips found by searching the forum? |

Bleed the system at the valve near the differential, it has a bleeder. Use tubing wrenchs on the lines. The system is self bleeding. When your done put a couple of friends in the trunk, then start the car and run it at 1500 rpm`s or more, this will trigger the valve to raise the car.

What exactly are you referring to when you say...

Flare nut wrenches. They wrap 5/6 of the way around the nut so they can't slip off.
