Unhappy Coolant Leak

The car in question is my new (used) '84 300DT.

Halfway through adjusting the valves, I noticed a slow drip under the car and was bummed to find coolant leaking. This was not the case prior to the valve job. The only clue I have is that the engine turned over harder than my others. I therefore applied more pressure on the upper bolt to move the valves into position.

The leak is magnified and quite alarming while the car is running. It appears to be NOT coming from the thermostat, hose area but above the top of the oil pan and in front of the engine. Somewhere near all the pulley action.

Are there any notorious areas for this type of leak? Any ideas?

Thanks

Don
