A/C performance booster
I suspect that I may have left some moisture in my a/c system when I recharged it last year having used a cheap diaphram type vacuum pump. I was wondering about adding a moisture remover product. It come in a small screw on canister and the directions say it contains methanol.

There is indeed one way to remove moisture. Recover the refrigerant, replace the filter drier, THOROUGHLY evacuate and charge.
No matter what additive you put in the system, the moisture is still in the system. Good luck,
