squeal when shfting
In the '79 300SD I have noticed that when mainly shifting into third gear while floored their is a somewhat squeal coming from the car. It normally occurs at about 4200 rpm's. Doesn't do it so bad in the other gears. I am afraid to just sit still and rev it but it seems fine when not under load. it does happen in other gears also, just predominantly going into third.

They are fine, the squeal is rather faint and you almost have to e looking for it.
