what to do with Plantman's 617

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6329&item=2430290821

Might even get Larry to look at the resulting SD

Dang, I love W126 hubcaps.

Sixto,

What good is it, it isn't a Diesel. I like the later alloy wheels better than just wheelcovers and steel wheels.

skinny bumpers, manual windows, cloth? (looks like it) seats, and wheel covers. Looks like a Eurospec car to me. Too bad it's not a diesel. It would otherwise be an interesting find.

I'm no fan of the M110 so I'd drop Plantman's 617 turbo into the eBay car and have a MT, manual AC, manual windows and fabric upholstery 300SD. To many in this forum (but not you fellows ), a Diesel as God intended.

There was a light blue over gray fabric 280SE for sale in San Jose a few months ago. Manual AC and AT (I don't need to shift). Unfortunately it takes an act of congress to register a car in CA that's been converted from a gas to Diesel engine so I couldn't pursue it.

There are some good finds on EBay, but this guy has misrepresented his vehicle.
He says, "No Rust", but there is some rust bubble on the right front fender in the rear portion by the molding. It goes to show you the importance of a PPI.
Thanks, Adam Bush
