I will be looking at an '87 300TD wagon this weekend. It has 200,000 mi and the asking price is $5500. The owner says it has a few dings (or does he mean dents) and the original paint is fading in some spots. The front passenger seat has a small tear in it along with the armrest. He says A/C works and he had the transmission rebuilt at 180,000. No other major work was done. Does this price seem high? The KBB shows $2800, Edmunds shows $3500 and NADA shows $6000 for averages.
