Foaming or bubbling ATF in w123 autos?
Hi,
For at least the last 20-30k, I have noticed that when I check the level of the ATF, that there is always some bubbles in the atf on the dipstick. The level is not high, it is always just about right. I have had MB change it, then had an independent shop change it with a different fluid, just to see, but no luck. Im going to have MB fluid put back in, since its been about a year. Usually bubbles/foam in a fluid liek this is very bad. My trans shifts fine, feels fine, and I am not experiencing any issues with economy. I just worry about the long term reliability because of this, or any potential problems that this might be hinting at. ANy info? Thanks, JMH
