Automatic Tranny Oil Change

Hello

I need some step-by-step instructions on how to do an oil and filter change on 79 300D automatic tranny!

What would be the best oil I can put in that I can get in Canada for that extended drain life because my haynes manual calls for 30 000mi oil and filter change I think that is too often.

I hear that when doing this oilchange one should drain the torque converter too! but how do you fill one up?
