Can the guts of my 123 seats be used to replace the guts of my 126 seats?
I have a set of blue manual 123 seats that are in great shape. I'd like to use the guts of those seats to repair the electric, non-heated tan seats in my 126. Can it be done?

When you say "Guts", are you referring to the entire seat frame or just the padding ?
I would suggest you remove the 126 seats from the car and disassemble them so that you can evaluate the condition and go from there. They sould come apart fairly easy. If the padding is ratty, just go to a good upholstery shop and get some new "guts" and "Hog ring" it all back together. Learn as you go, it's easy. Have fun !

One of my 126 seats sags to the left, due to a broken spring, and both of them need new padding. Being that I have a soon to be scrapped 123, I figured I might as well use the near perfect springs/padding in my 'new' 126, if possible.
