the "bad" 90-91 350SDL engine
Hello all, does anyone out there know the percentage of th 90-91
350SDL have the 'bad' engine. I suppose one only hears about problems with their vehicles, but I am wondering how many satisfied 350SDL's are being driven. Frank Bertrnd 79 300sd 84 300td 91 350sdl |

50/50...
There are some that last. Really, ![]() At least that's what I gathered from the diesel list on mbz.org. BTW, my 350 is on the second engine and is now FINALLY running like a champ. Needed to be driven like a rice-burner to get all the excess fuel out from the previous bad IP and injectors. 170K on new engine. Bad winter fuel keeps it from purring like in the summer.
