COLD weather...ww fluid freeze up, and SLOW heat in

'83 240D manual...any thoughts?

Make sure you're running straight, undiluted (w/ water) w-shield fluid-

as far as lack of heat- is the engine getting up to temp? bad thermostat maybe?

With this cold weather, my gf just pulled the male end off of the cord to the block heater... lovely this weather, isn't it?

If not much heat, check coolant level! If it is low, no flow to heater core. If it gets really low ......OUCH
