Hood hinge gone

All I did was lift the hood. About half way up, I heard this *POP* and saw the plug that holds the hinge to the hood fly across my yard. I have not been able to find the plug. I can't find the plug on Fastlane or any other place. I really want to fix this, it just looks so cheap using a hood prop when a $2 plug is the cause.
