Heads up/FYI - Horn wire abrasion
As I crawl over my car slowely returning it to service I came accross some badly abraded wires which appeared to go to the horn. They had become wedged under what looked to be an AC line in the vacinity of the alternator....The vibe from the diesel prolly contributed to the wearing through of the insulation.
Cheers!

Nice shiny copper showing....The worn area was obscured hidden concealed by the larger hose covering it and wearing on it. Only a super sleuth (nosey, poking around, moving things here and there, newbie car owner guy) like myself would sniff this out.
Well, That plus the fact that the last time I had a battery in, the horn didn't work....That was a hint....
