My questions is in reference to a 1985 300SD. Notice the steering lock in the pic. The eletrical (tiny) box attached (where the screw driver is pointing) has TWO sets of wires coming out of it. One is the normal connector that can be hooked in or removed. The one in question is soldered.
Both Performance products and Fastlane reference the steering lock as identical parts for the 123 and 126. In taking them apart, I noticed that such is the case BUT the 123 only has the connector and not the soldered wires. The end facing you is the connector end while the soldered wires are coming out the back. Does anyone know what that is? Thanks Don
