time to make lemonade!!!!! sometimes what seems like a terrible thing is a blessing in disguise. Carry what you learned. things can be replaced and life is precious. give your wife a hug and kiss, call the kids and watch craigs for a replacement. or better yet, fix yours again. maybe you didnt know what you were going to do with your free time anyway now that its done.

This thread really hit home in many way and I can only echo what many of you here have said, especially about Mercedes Benz owners. Learn as much as you can from this experience and apply what you learn everyday. Take nothing for granted. Nothing is as bad as people make it out to be. Go watch the movie "What the Bleep Do We Know", it will shed some light on this whole experience. A nearly fatal car accident is what brought me to my love of Mercedes. I had owned 84 vehicles since age 16, many of them sports cars. When I was younger among my "dream cars" were W126's in both coupes and sedans. After I awoke from a month long coma with 12 broken bones, one of them being my C1 which I am told is the same bone Christopher Reeves broke, I decided it was going to be extremely safe vehicles from now on. Bought my 81 300SD and there was no turning back. You may have lost a love, but allow yourself to begin a new path. There is a video of a speech I gave to a group of doctors, medical students and families of those impacted by traumatic brain injuries on my website http://www.avpcar.com that I think many of you would enjoy. Just remember to savor every single moment you have on this earth and thank God for giving you the ability to question everything.
