For What It's Worth

A word to the wise:
It's apparent that we all spend a lot of time on eBay and have embraced the concept of eBusiness. What may not have been fully considered is the Big Brother aspect of the eBay/PayPal Königreich.

As seen in other threads here, they definitely have the capability of raining, no FLOODING, on your parade. No point in getting hosed with your other creditors just because somebody decides they don't like you, complains to eBay and wrangles PayPal into locking-up all of your banking.

Keep your eBay/PayPal financial arrangements separate as possible from your domestic/business/personal checking. For example, use a different bank as the PayPal funding source, and a stand-alone credit card with a $500 minimum etc.

Doing this should theoretically give you some room for damage control in the event someone gets pissy.

For What It's Worth is also the title of a good song by Buffalo Springfield.

I always pull out any cash in PayPal as soon as I get it.

Ahh ebay, this I love.
Pay Pal for me is a stay away. I bought my 190d on e bay along with a truck bed for for my F350 and many other odds and ends and I always use a postal money order since it does not tie to my credit and there is an off chance if the seller cashes the money order and then does something dumb like not sending the stuff it may fall under postal fraud.
