Noise baffle question
On my 1980 300D, the under-hood insulation pad is gone... I tried to put metal coated padding back up under there, but it fell off so fast, I quit trying...
Anyway, she's pretty noisy on the highway, is this just the way of life with these cars, or would replacing the insulation help a lot? Any parts cars out there with intact insulation for sale? Bueller? I know, I just need bigger speakers. WHAT?? I CAN'T HEAR YOU!  Also, what's the nominal cruising speed with this car? It's the only (healthy) example I've driven. Thanks!
