Easy question -- removing map pockets
Quick question:
How do I remove the map pockets from my front door panels in my 82 W123 300D without removing the panels themselves? On my W115, screws were used. The W123 appears to use clips. Help a brotha' out... Thanks, Cassidy

I just checked my CD FSM and it looks like you have to remove the door "liners", as the FSM calls them, to get the map pockets off. It looks like there's no other way or at least according to the FSM.
Sorry.

door panel comes off rather easy. Unscrew the chrome trim by the lock mechanism and the door release handle. Slowly pop out the panel's plugs. Dont think I left anything out.

of the two top clips on the map pocket, one clips into the door panel and one slides into the door sheetmetal. panel has to come
off or the clip will break. slide the panel up once the door panel plugs are popped. really easy to remove and replace. don |
