Interesting turbo stuff...

I found this and it is interesting and informative. It deals primarly with the turbo and a modification.

The guy shows how he removed the EGR valve and blocks it off. I would be interested in doing this to my 124 if I knew what the benefits were.

I believe that's Dave's little portfolio(gsxr).

Pictures are worth a lot more than words could ever speak for, sometimes.

I got rid of my EGR but it is a little more crude method than his. Nonetheless it is blocked. Also did a little modification.

I figured I'd just swap to pre-egr manifolds. I have a set at the yard on an 116 SD I believe, turbo..

Search for his profile in the member's section. You should find his e-mail and PM addresses so you can send him any requests you may have.

Or you can click here for his profile.

Sent Dave my email...

Thanks guys, maybe he can give me some guidance into getting inside the dash. I have some bad diaphrams and maybe an evaporator leak.

pre EGR intake

I switched to pre EGR intake exhaust manifolds. There is a difference the part of the ALDA system that screws into the intake is of a completely different length than the EGR valve model it is much shorter. I never did figure out if it would be better to use the longer one or if it will even fit in the pre EGR intake. Just thought you might want to know.
