steering wheel replacement

looking for a steering wheel replacement: either a brand new one or something smaller than to bus looking one....anyone got any clues???

Car: 300D 1978 5 cylinder

u can get a hub adapter and buy after market steering wheels. there is a trade off that u won't be able to see some gauges with a different diameter steering wheel. please do a search.

There was a recent thread about replacing the steering wheel with a smaller one. One of the comments was that they were designed large to provide correct ergonomics, especially during long trips. Large wheel causes less arm fatigue. Another comment mentioned that after changing to smaller wheel that parking and tight maneuvers were considerably harder. Your choice, but a Marmon Herrington trolley bus steering wheel is really the ultimate!!
