Am I a traitor?

Since I bought this 2 weeks ago? 1987 BMW 535i

I have a 1984 300SD and I tell everyone I meet (after at least 2 minutes of knowing them) that it is the greatest car ever built and how my grandchildren will drive it, it will outlast me, etc etc.


My girlfriend jokingly (I hope) called me Benedict Arnold when I bought this car because I have been a "Benz man" through and through....

Well, I was looking for a 300e with a 5 speed so I would have something sporty and then this Bimmer came along. In excellent condition and I had the chance to pick it up for a song.....All I can tell you is that she will fly.

So the way I see it I have my bases covered--big comfortable diesel for highway trips, and my smaller, nimble and fast car for jaunts up into the mountains.

So am I a backstabber???
