For Sale 1985 300D Parts Car - Low Miles
I have a 1985 300D (date of MFG 5/85) that was hit in the passenger side rear door. This car has frame damage and unfortunately is totaled. Here is a description:
This car has no visable rust. Originally a South Carolina Car (short time in Kentucky) The car has 92,000 miles on it. The powertrain is in super condition. Just did a valve clearance adjustment and replaced tranny fluid with Amsoil. It shifts crisp (but not too crisp) and at the right points. The trunk lid, and passenger side doors are good. The front body parts are good. The front suspension parts may still be good. It has black interior. The seats are in "near new" shape. The carpet is excellent. The passenger side door panels are in "near new" shape. The dash is in good shape (one very small crack starting to appear) Gauge cluster all in working order, including the tach and clock. Climate control works. Has cold AC. Cruise Control does not work. Still have the original first aid kit. Three out of the four power windows work. Power antenna works when it wants to. Original radio does not work. Sunroof works wonderfully. Alloy wheels in good shape (could use a cleaning) The car is driveable condition. Would not want to drive it that far, though. If you are in the market for a good W123 parts car, this is it. I have purchased another diesel. . .a W126. I will post/email pics and entertain any and all offers. Sorry about Hilda's demise -- it's always sad to one go down for the count.
You're a little far away for me to take the whole car, but if you decide to part it out, let me know -- I need several pieces. Wish it was a blue interior like ours, I'd want even more! Thanks and good luck. Sunny
