A/C keeps blowing fuse. Simple or Not?
I've got a chance to buy "92300SE"'s (forum member) 83 300SD. Car is stated to be in excellent condition but as stated by "92300SE", the A/C "keeps blowing fuse, it works fine at all speeds, retrofited to R134, after a couple of minutes of work, fuse goes bad, it needs a retrofit for the blower motor fuse (later models have it factory instaled, kit only cost a couple of bucks, I am not willing to deal with it)."
How much am I likely in for to repair this? Price for car is OK, so I don't mind spending a few hundred to take care of it, but I don't want to spend $2k for all new A/C either. Thanks for the help. Robby |

There is a factory fix for this problem. Install an AUX fuse box with a 30A strip fuse outside the main fuse box.
Whay doesn't the seller fix the problem? Wray |

That's what I'm concerned about. If its so simple, why not just fix it. On the other hand, I know some people emotionally "move on" or are really pressed for time.
