Hey Guys , Looks like I am building header , Anyone know the OD of the top part of the stock header pipe .
I found several sizes of stainless flex joints , if I go 3" the bellows of the flex is 4" and that puts me closer to the body and engine .
2.5 gives me a 3.5 at the flex joint .
The system I am building is going to be a 3" straight pipe to the rear diff and there it's going to do a even split to 2" duals out the back ...I think that will look the best ... plus I want the pipes a little past the back bumper , mainlly for sound reasons , I have done alot of systems and if you direct the sound down like the stock exhaust the sound will bounce back off the ground ... even at speeds you will get a deep drone bouncing back , By directing it out and back will reduce the sound reverb by more than 50% .
