OM628 OM629 V8 engines on CL, WOW!

Surfing Craigslist I spot this listing today, seller said he has multiple choices in the newest V8 direct rail injection engines. A bit pricy for anyone except the wealthy perhaps but here's the listing:

I have no connection with the seller, if I did I would explain how they came to have several of these - dunno? would be nice stuffed into a old chassis. Maybe they are suddenly obsolete due to a factory change or something? Or MB is trying to have a fire sale to keep afloat in this economy (not really, just kidding, maybe
what do you think?
Hey I can almost see one of these in my Blue Bomb (see my pics! http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/vbpicgallery.php?do=view&g=2170 )

Maybe the wiring harness and a re-flashed ECU could be adapted from one of the American V8 truck engines that use common rail technology--say Navistar or GM/Isuzu
