606 turbo full load adjustment?
Does anyone know if the 606 pump has the same full load adjustment as the 603?
If the electric rack solenoid is taken off does the back of the pump look the same? Is there any problem or precaution to taking the rack solenoid off to look? Thanks! |
What is the full load? :dunce:

OK, I got it, this is for the maximum fuel, wonder if the 606 as a limiter?

Olivier, that is for the 617. The 603 is much easier and may be similar to the 606.
Here is the full load for the 603 http://www.***************/forum/showthread.php?t=1059 |
Hiya,
I knew it was not for the 606 , I was just saying that I got it about the full load as I didn't know what it was, sorry for the missleading... |
After 1996 the IPwas electronic. You need a chip upgrade for more fuel and power.
|
No worries here Olivier. I was adding the link to show the difference and possible similarity to the 603.

I have a chip and it has worked quite well. I was just wondering what was on the other side of the electronic solenoid?

pictures would be great, I never saw one inside.
Thank you. Olivier |
If you have one apart, it would be fantastic if you could determine the pin assignment information. I'm looking for which pins that control the rack position and the ones that are the rack position feedback.

Looking forward to the pictures also.
The chip tuning is www.speedtuningusa.com. Oliver will hook you up. Tell him you want the aggressive tuning. |

Ok, so the rack position sensor is a simple Tab A slides into Slot B arrangement, which of course determines where along a finite continuum the rack is, relative to full stop and full load. The rack doesn't appear to have any mechanical means of adjusting its full load, like the 603 pumps.
The rack position pin numbers are as follows: #1 = Red #6 = Green #7 = Black The two remaining pins correspond with the rack solenoid. |
